The following patterns and routines are prescribed. It is essential that the judge and exhibitors adhere to it.
- The eight small circles represent markers (cones, barrels, etc.)
- These should be set equal distances apart. On the side with five, the distance should be a minimum of 30 feet but not more than 50 feet apart.
- The rectangle represents an obstacle (small log or pole recommended) just high enough to break the animal’s stride.
